| | Paulo gave me the honors of trying out his camera. Wee! Super happy.
This is the 2nd dSLR I've held (the first one is my cousin's Nikola). The Canon 40D is heavier than Nikola, a Nikon D40.
I had a blast with this one. But I still need to work on the blurring problem.

I was asked to text people and set-up a reunion. About six people said they would come and about 5 people said "Susunod na lang ako." Only three of the six and two of the five came. Even if konti lang kami, it was fun.
T'was full of intimate conversations, funny reminiscing moments, and small talk about relationships and men. There was even a debate. Haha. And the Blue Margarita was delish!
Fiddled around with Paulo's Canon 40D. It was kinda heavy, most of my shots were blurred. I could work on that.
Be posting more pics as soon as Paulo uploads them.
Met up at Gerry's Grill-Blue Wave, Macapagal. Drank coffee and hot choco at Starbucks. And stayed a while outside Petron Treats for more small talk.
Was out until 4am. Super fun! |
| | met up with my elementary classmates to go to the wake of Karla Natividad's dad. he died of a head shot, one of the civilians caught in between a crossfire somewhere in Manila. went to Brother's Burger-Ayala Ave. before going home. |
| | Bryan came back from Taiwan. This night out was postponed to this week 'cause most of us weren't free last week.
Dapat sa 70's Bistro pupunta but since Julie's gig got canceled we decided to go to Timog instead. Buti na rin Timog nagpunta kasi baka hindi nakasama sila Bryan if ever natuloy sa Bistro.
Potchi, Birdie and I met at Gateway to eat dinner. Then to BK-Timog to meet up with the rest. Save for Miggy and Ivan na humabol sa Esquinita after BK. My camera ran out of batteries so I wasn't able to take pictures.
Who came? Potchi, Birdie, Shyr, Bryan, Kris, Bini, Rion, Erwin, Miggy, Ivan and me. Eleven people in all.
Glad maraming nakapunta. Parami na ng parami ang mga nagkikita-kita monthly. Sana maulit! |

We met up at Megamall near the Skating Rink and went straight to Dencio's to eat dinner. Then drink.
Ang Kwento:
Nakaalis na si Marcx at patapos na rin kami, nang sabihin ni Rob na "Uy! Si Val!" Napatingin kami at hindi makapaniwala na si Val nga yung naglalakad sa labas ng Dencio's. Kala ko alam niya na andon kami. Nagkataon lang pala na doon siya dumadaan papuntang trabaho.

The Trip to Baras:
I met up with Bini, Kris's boyfriend, at CSB. Then we went to Rion's house to pick him up, met up with Kit at Mcdo-Panay Ave., then went straight to Jollibee-Philcoa to wait for Kris and Lovely.
At Baras:
Day One - We relaxed a little before we ate lunch. Then swam at around 4 or 5pm. Then dinner and uber fun kwentuhan mode before going to sleep.
Day Two - Had breakfast at 11:30, I think. Swam at 12:30nn. Lunch at 2pm. And left the place at around 4pm. |

usually, when me and my college friends go out, i get to be the one waiting an hour or two until they arrive. so this time, i decided to go there an hour after the call time. but i was mistaken. because most of them came a little too early. Irene arrived a full hour(!) before the call time, Lovely arrived 30minutes ahead (i think) and Kris came maybe a quarter before 8. The rest followed. so.... i was super late. huhuhu.
after which, we went to Off the Grill-Timog. but we were forced to leave the place 'cause they had a dress code. a dress code which sign is hardly readable. it's like written in invisible freakin' ink! so since we were parked already, we decided to go to a different place in the area... to Quattro. again. hahaha. we left at around 2am and saw Ecai there. well, she texted she was there so we went back. shucks! i wasn't able to take a picture of us with Ecai. grr.

There were a few known people... LJ Moreno, Paolo Valenciano, Bianca King... and a lot of familiar faces. Most of the guests made me wonder where I saw them before.

Even if I don't play Ragnarok anymore (I say this because all my accounts ran out of load and I don't plan on buying load anytime soon), it's tradition for me to go to Level Up!'s annual event.
I went with Kit and Carlo (Kit's friend, a non-RO player). we met up at WTC then ate lunch at Jay-J's.
