I chose this blog title because buying his (Joaqui Valdes) album is really a memorable experience.

After watching Jumper last Saturday, together with Kit and my sister, Amanda, I bought his album in Astrovision-Trinoma. As we rode the escalator, I took the cd out of the plastic. Read aloud the songs at the back, and discussed the songs with my sister. A few beats after, I heard her say, "Uy, Ate! Dairy Queen."

We went inside the shop. Ordered. Waited. Got the Blizzard and walked out sharing the ice cream. We found the car in the parking lot and continued on discussing the movie as I drove away. After a brief silence, I heard the sound of plastic crackling. I said, "Uy! Don't open Joaqui's cd." When I looked at the backseat to see, the sound didn't come from my cd. But from her Cary Grant VCD.

We realized that the cd wasn't even in the car with us. We retraced our steps and I concluded that I left it in DQ by the cashier. It was past 10, the mall was closing. The only choice I had was to go back the next day.

Sunday came. My mom suggested we called DQ first. It took a while before I could get a hold of their phone number. Yep, I left the cd there. Good thing someone saw it and glad they kept it.

I just got the cd today, Tuesday. And I'm listening to it right now while waiting for my son to fall asleep. Lagot na naman kami pag pasok sa school bukas. It's gonna be hard to wake him tomorrow.

So here's my story regarding Joaqui Valdes' album. I hope you also get a copy. Hopefully you don't leave the cd behind, like me. Well... If you do, you can always buy another one. It only costs P280. That was my plan. If DQ doesn't have it, I'll buy another one.
